Two Person Scramble

ELIGIBILITY. Each player must have a USGA established handicap index and be a member of the WWGA or WMGA for the 2021 season.

FORMAT. This is a 2 person scramble and will consist of one WWGA and a WMGA member.

Each player on the team hits a tee shot, and then the players decide which shot they like better. The two players then play from that spot. The person whose shot was not taken picks up their ball and moves it to within one club length of the selected spot. This continues until the ball is holed out.

Men, please indicate which tee you wish to play from by placing either a (W) or (G) after your last name.

HANDICAP: A maximum individual course handicap of 35 is allowed for men from the white tees, 31 from the green tees, and 39 for women.

Team handicap allowances are as follows:  The lower course handicap golfer receives 60% of his or her course handicap. The higher course handicap team member receives 40% of his or her course handicap. 

TEES: Women – GOLD; Men –WHITE or GREEN

SCORING. The two person team with the lowest net score wins.  Record gross score on card.

PRIZES.  Winning teams will receive gift certificates which will be determined based on participation.

"Closest to the Hole" and 50/50 is an additional $5 per, if you wish to participate.

TIE BREAKS. If there is a tie, the lowest net score on the back 9 will determine the

winners. If still a tie, the lowest net score on the last 6 holes will be used, then the last

3 holes, then the 18th hole, then each previous hole until the tie is broken.

DROP AREAS. Drop areas may not be used in this format.

Scores are NOT entered into the Handicap Computer for this game.
