Event Type: 18-hole Individual/Team Quota competition

Format: Modified Stableford Quota

Eligibility: Open to any Member of Mystic Creek in good standing

Tees: Men (Under 59) – White Tees (6,251 yards)

Men (60-69) – Yellow Tees (5,580 yards)

Men (70 and Over) and Ladies – Red Tees (5,110 yards)

Pairings: Randomly drawn

Teams: Randomly drawn during play

Entry Fee: $25 per player – CASH ONLY!

 Breakdown of Entry Fees: $10 to team pool, $5 to CTP pool, $5 to skins pool, $5 to Medalist pool

 Payouts: Team prizes, skins, closest to the pin on all Par 3’s and medalist (best individual to quota)

How to Register: Registration is through the Mystic Creek Golf Club App!

This game is for anyone and everyone! Your initial quota will be based off your USGA GHIN Handicap Index. That will be converted to a course handicap for the tees you play based on your age. Your course handicap will then be subtracted from 36 giving you your quota (We get 36 based on par being worth 2 points x 18 holes = 36 points). Example: Handicap index of 12.0 has a course handicap of 13 from the white tees. 36-13=23, meaning your quota would be 23 points. Your quota will then adjust based on how you play from week to week. Your quota will adjust up or down one (1) point for every two (2) points you are above or below your quota. Your quota can only drop a maximum of two (2) points while there is no maximum for how high your quota can increase.

If you don’t have a GHIN Handicap, no worries! Your quota will start at 36 points and stay there for the first three weeks you play. After your third round we will average your scores and starting the fourth week, you will have an established quota. While you’re establishing your quota, your score only minimally affects your team as you can only hurt or help your team a maximum of 4 points.
