The Veterans Day Golf Classic in support of PGA Hope is a day to honor all who have served with a relaxing day on the golf course.  We will be hosting a Tribute to Veterans Ceremony around the American Flag prior to the event.  The ceremony will honor Kiln Creek Members and Residents who have served our country and will be facilitated by Kiln Creek Members.  Following the flag dedication, two-person teams will play 18-holes of golf using the Shambles Format.  Gross and net winners will be crowned as well as additional hole contests awarded.  After the event, participants will gather for light drinks and food.  It will truly be a day of honor and celebrating the USA!

1115: Meet at golf carts for event details
1120: Golfers drive out to their starting holes
1130: Play begins
1630: Scoring, prizes awarded, food, and drinks

FORMAT
Two-Person Shamble (Gross & Net)

HANDICAPPING
All golfers are required to have a valid and updated GHIN Handicap
Golfers without a verifiable handicap will be required to play at scratch and will receive no handicap strokes for the net portion of the event
Stroke differentials will apply should a golfer decide to play from a teeing location other than the White Tee, as permitted based on age and gender

TEES
Handicapping will be based on the White Tees, however golfers may select to play from a different tee (if qualified based on age and gender) and receive additional or less handicap strokes.
Blue: Men ages 49 & below
White: Men ages 50-64
Green: Men ages 65+ and Ladies ages 59 & below
Red: Ladies ages 60+

AND $25 of each players entry fee will go towards supporting PGA Hope, a program developed to create a physically and emotionally healthier Veteran community by shaping lives, changing lives, and possibly saving lives through the game of golf. Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort is proud to have a chapter within the Middle Atlantic PGA Section with programs led by PGA Director of Golf, Chris Dillow, every spring and fall season.  Over 75 veterans have participated in this program at Kiln Creek over the past two years.

ENTRY FEE
General: $150 per golfer
Kiln Creek Members & Pass Holder: $90 per golfer plus applicable pass holder golf rates
