The WMGA  will kickoff 2023 season with the annual FROSTBITE SCRAMBLE, on Saturday April 15th.  Shotgun start is at 9:00 am.

Registration:  7:30 - 8:30

Fees: Annual Membership dues of $40 must be paid prior to playing any tournament.  Tournament entry fee is $10 and, optional is $5 for the Closest to the Pin competition and $5 for the 50-50 Raffle.  All fees are cash or check only. Woods Handicap Fee must be paid in order to be a member of WMGA and to participate in tournaments.

Tee Time:  Shotgun start at 9:00 AM

Frostbite Tournament Rules:

FORMAT.  This is a four-person  team SCRAMBLE. Each player hits a tee shot. The team then selects the best tee shot and from that selected location, all players will hit from that spot and then select the best shot from there, play continues in this manner until the ball is holed out.  Team must use 3 tee shots from each player.

TEAMS.  The Tournament software selects the A, B, C and D players based on the established handicaps.  

TEES. White and Green tees will be used.  Please indicate which tees you wish play from by placing either (W) or (G) after your name on the registration.

PRIZES.  For winning teams, gift certificate amounts will be determined based on participation.  There will be an optional $5 for closest to the pin on par 3 holes (3, 9, 11, and 13) - only the first ball hit counts, and an optional $5 for a 50/50 drawing.

TIE BREAK.  If there is a tie, the lowest  score on the back 9 will determine the winners.  If still a tie, the lowest score on the last 6 holes will be used, then the last 3 holes, then the 18th hole, then each previous hole until the tie is broken.

DROP AREAS.  Drop areas may not be used in this format.
