KILN CREEK COMMUNITY CHALLENGE

The Kiln Creek Community Challenge provides added bragging rights for all Kiln Creek Villages while also giving local golfers a taste of the Kiln Creek golfing community.  This format features a four-person shamble and two distinct championship flights.  Teams consisting of at least one Kiln Creek Resident are eligible to compete in the Kiln Creek Flight, whereas all other teams will be in the Kiln Creek Open Flight.  The Shamble format provides a fun-filled day of golf in which all team members will tee off, select the best drive, then play their own ball from that point forward.  This will put all players in the drivers seat to have an impact on their team score.  This added "challenge" is sure to bring out the true golfing spirit of our local golfers within Kiln Creek and the surrounding community.  See more details below:

Format:
Four-person Shamble over 18-holes of golf
One Low Gross & One Low Net Ball of the team (Lowest Gross and Net Ball must come from two different players)

Flights:
Kiln Creek Resident Flight - At least one Kiln Creek Resident must be on the team to compete in this flight
Kiln Creek Open Flight - Open to all golfers

Handicaps:
A valid GHIN Handicap or verifiable handicap from a PGA Professional is required for net scoring.  Any golfer without a valid GHIN Handicap or verifiable handicap from a PGA Professional will be required to play to scratch and will receive zero net strokes.

Tees:
All handicapping will be based from the White Tees, however eligible golfers will be permitted to play an alternative tee and apply stroke differentials accordingly.

The longest tee permitted for play will be from the White Tee marker.
