2025 MIXED DERBY

Saturday, July 19, 2025 – Mountain View Course

TIME:  8am shotgun start

ELIGIBILITY: Each player must have a USGA established handicap and be a member of the
WMGA/WWGA for the 2025 season.

TEAMS: Participants will be grouped as A, B, C, and D players, and teams will be determined
by a live drawing during the potluck dinner at The Woods Pavilion on the evening of Friday, July 18 th .

CALCUTTA: Once teams are chosen, folks will have an opportunity to buy their team or
someone else’s. Let the fun begin! 

HANDICAP: Handicaps are first limited to a maximum 35 for men from the white tees, 31 for
men from the green tees, and 39 for women. 85% of 18-hole course handicap will be applied.

FLIGHTING: Flights will be organized by handicap, as participation warrants.

TOURNAMENT FEE is $15 and will be collected at the potluck dinner the evening before the
tournament, along with the optional $5 for the “Closest to the Hole” competition and 50/50
tickets at $5 each or 3 for $10.

FORMAT: Four Ball. Each player plays his or her own ball. Record the GROSS and NET scores
for each player. The two best NET scores for each hole will be used to calculate the team score.
Please help speed of play by picking up if you are out of the hole. If you do not finish a hole, you
must post your most likely score for handicap purposes.

DROP AREAS may not be used in this format.

POSTING SCORES: Scores must be posted in GHIN for this tournament.
