2025 MIXED MURDER MYSTERY HALLOWEEN TOURNAMENT
Murder on Mountain View, it’s Par for the Corpse
Solve the murder mystery while playing golf
(Costumes are optional)

Saturday, October 18, 2025 – Mountain View Course
TIME: 9 am shotgun start

ELIGIBILITY: Each player must have a USGA established handicap index and be a member of
the WWGA or the WMGA.

TEAMS will be computer-generated with A, B, C, and D players. If a team has 3 players, players
will take turns taking an extra shot, the player taking the extra shot will take the extra shots for
the entire hole, and players will alternate holes.

HANDICAP: This is a fun tournament, all are welcome. A,B,C and D players will be determined
by handicap, but tournament will not be handicapped, only flighted if there are enough teams.

FLIGHTING: Flights will be organized by handicap, as participation warrants.

TOURNAMENT FEE is $15 and will be collected the morning of the tournament, along with the
optional $5 for the “Closest to the Hole” competition. 50/50 tickets will be available at $5 each or
3 for $10.

FORMAT: Stableford-scramble: Play a regular 4 person scramble, (or 3 with alternating extra shots)
Everyone tees off, choose the best drive, all play from there, choose the best ball, all play from there,
etc.
Stableford scoring as follows:
Triple Bogey -1
Double Bogey 0
Bogey 1
Par 2
Birdie 4
Eagle 8

TIE BREAK: If there is a tie, the back 9 will determine the winners. If still a tie, the lowest score
on the last 6 holes will be used, then the last 3 holes, then the 18th hole, then each previous hole
until the tie is broken.

DROP AREAS may not be used.

POSTING SCORES: Scores are not entered into GHIN for this tournament.
