The competition will include both a nine-hole and an eighteen-hole division.

The deadline for registration is Saturday, August 1, 2020

The rain date is August 10. If the field cannot complete 36 holes of play, the tournament will be cancelled. Tournament protocol and scoring will be under the direction of Jamie Locke, PGA Head Golf Pro.

ELIGIBILITY: WGA members who have played 50% of the possible league days for the current season prior to the Championship or 5 league rounds from the previous season are eligible.  Handicaps will be verified with each league to ensure that all league rounds are included.  Exceptions may be made at the Championship Committee’s discretion due to the number of cancelled league days both this season and the 2019 season.

ENTRY FORMS: Registration will be done online.

HANDICAPS: The August 1 CDGA handicaps will be used to determine flights.  Any18-hole handicap with an index higher than 54.0 will be adjusted to the corresponding course handicap of 56. The current 9-hole course handicaps will be used for 9-hole flight players with no limit.

PRIZES: The WGA champion will be the player with the lowest gross across the field and will receive a trophy. The player with the lowest net across the field shall have her name engraved on the traveling decanter. Prizes will be allocated so that approximately one third of the players in each flight will receive prizes.

CANCELLATION: If a player must cancel out of the tournament, the Championship chairman must be notified by telephone or email and will confirm the cancellation. A registration fee may be deducted from the entry fee.
